So, this one time at fight camp...

Oddball MMA shirts

Now this one is just a throwaway MMA shirt - inspired (is that even the right word?) by American Pie and now a mostly for-the-hell-of-it oddball MMA shirt.

Fight camp, now there's something we'd like to have gotten to before the MMA thang exploded and everyone got in on the act. And where would anyone with any real sense have gone to, back in the day, to get a really solid fight camp, whether as preparation for competition or just out of passion for training? Thailand. Ain't nowhere else you'd want to go (depending on where you start out from, of course). Thing is, with a Thai fight camp, you've a few added bonuses, we'd say:

  • Temperature - you'd be training in pressure conditions in a higher temperature than most of us deal with in our everyday lives;
  • Quality training partners - in Thai camps, you're training alongside guys who are fighters, not enthusiasts; and
  • Cost - the exchange rate with Thailand made it a great, low-cost destination.

But, uh, this oddball shirt's not about Thai fight camps specifically. My bad. Rambling again.

We should really come back to this MMA shirt and at least throw some colour in there, get a background happening. For now, though, this one's fine and dandy; a simple halfway-funny, mostly-oddball MMA shirt for people who aren't too serious about it all.
